This time, modesty must be set aside to say, without fear of being contradicted, that the debut of the C-Cat 65 at the Cannes Yachting Festival was a true and resounding success. From the very first hours after the show’s opening, many visitors asked to come aboard and see Comar Yachts’ new multihull, so strikingly different from all the others around: sleek, with a slender profile both in the side view and at the stern, wide lateral steps leading on board, and vast spaces in the cockpit and saloon. These two areas are so free of obstacles and so seamlessly connected that they become either two distinct environments when the doors are closed, or one immense open space when the doors are fully opened.
Unusual reverse windows, borrowed from the world of working boats, flood the interior with natural light while eliminating reflections. The low, carbon-fiber black deckhouse incorporates the helm stations, while the elongated bows are joined by a net so wide it becomes a living space of its own. Then there is the 27-meter carbon mast, with gleaming details set against hulls in shimmering golden-sand tones.
The interiors feature a minimalistic design with bright, open spaces and clean lines or softly rounded forms. Nothing protrudes, every passage is generous and obstacle-free, both in the saloon and in each of the spacious cabins.
In short, this is a yacht that everyone was talking about along the docks. After every meeting, the recurring question was: “Have you seen the new C-Cat 65?” We have even been told that the very same question resonated at the Genoa Boat Show.
Together with the already proven C-Cat 48, these accolades fill us with pride, as they represent recognition of our commitment and our work—always aimed at improving the product and being as innovative as we are faithful to tradition.
