The Rolex Middle Sea Race is far more than a regatta,it’s a true icon of international sailing and the event that traditionally closes the Mediterranean offshore racing season in spectacular fashion. Its fascinating and demanding 600-nautical-mile course starts in Malta, circles Sicily counterclockwise, and returns to Valletta, putting teams to the test as they hunt for the best winds and most strategic routes.

Among the key contenders in this year’s edition is Scricca, the Comet 38s helmed by Leonardo Servi with Franco Manzoli on board, taking on a challenge that, as always, is full of surprises. After a 2024 edition marked by violent storms and forced withdrawals, this year the wind is playing hard to get. Unusually calm conditions have slowed the fleet down, turning the race into a gripping trial of patience, tactical skill, and precision.

In the midst of these tricky conditions, Scricca is holding strong: currently in fifth place in ORC 6 class, with 389 miles to the finish line. A remarkable result in such a highly technical and unpredictable context. Go Scricca! We’re proud to follow your journey, mile after mile.
