The Comet 50 Verve Camer, campaigned by Giuseppe Greco, has won the Coppa dei Campioni in Santa Maria di Leuca, where the Ionian Sea meets the Adriatic. The regatta counts as the National Area Championship for the Middle and Lower Adriatic and the Eastern Ionian, as the Zonal Offshore Championship, and also as a qualifying event for the Italian Offshore Championship, which will take place in Gaeta at the end of June.
A prestigious achievement for the owner and his crew, who continue to add titles and awards to their record. Launched in 2010 and built entirely in carbon fibre, the C50 Verve Camer further enriches an already impressive palmarès, which began in 2010 with victory at the Giraglia Rolex Cup and continued with wins at the Brindisi–Corfu race in 2022 and Boka Bay in 2023, to name only the most important regattas.
