The C CAT 38 has been nominated for the prestigious Multihull of the Year award, an internationally recognized accolade presented by Multihulls World, a leading publication for multihull enthusiasts. The competition relies not only on the judgment of an expert panel but also on the votes of seasoned sailors and passionate cruisers.

This nomination is a source of great pride for Comar Yachts, which, following the success of the C CAT 48 in 2023 in the performance multihull category, now sees the entry-level model of the C CAT range earning significant acclaim. “This recognition rewards our shipyard’s commitment and our belief that a compact, agile catamaran—easily handled by a crew of just two—can offer stability, safety, and full autonomy for extended ocean passages. The C CAT 38 is an open invitation to set sail and embrace the sea,” says Amerigo Guardigli.

“We are pleased to have brought the Municipality of Fiumicino with us, sailing from Fiumicino to Miami on a magnificent route and achieving the greatest success we could have hoped for. Miami and the city we live in are now ideally more connected,” said Massimo Guardigli with satisfaction.

The C CAT 38, in its Blue Water configuration, is making its world debut at the Miami International Boat Show (Museum Marina Park FEC 144) until February 16.

After an epic 6,000-nautical-mile journey—from Fiumicino (Rome) to the Canary Islands, then across the Atlantic to St. Lucia in the Caribbean, where it triumphed in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, and finally on to Miami for the show—the C CAT 38 has arrived in top form. Throughout the voyage, it proved its worth, delivering both speed and reliability, confidently navigating deep waters and challenging weather conditions, as well as the often treacherous, shallow waters of the Caribbean. Performance, safety, and sheer sailing pleasure were constant companions on board.
