Giuseppe Massoni makes a significant impact: with the Comet 38s Fahrenheit, he wins the first edition of the Riva – Montecristo, launched this year by the Riva di Traiano Yacht Club. Massoni’s success is threefold as he dominated the real-time, IRC, and Orc rankings. The regatta took place simultaneously with the more famous Roma-Giraglia, now in its 19th edition. Here, Luca Lualdi, with his Comet 45s Timeriesci, steps onto the podium. A beautiful second place, only behind Lancillotto.
